Responsibilities
- To undertake Void property support duties under the direction of the Voids manager.
- To handle and maintain confidential and commercially sensitive information professionally.
- To upload void specifications in line with schedules of work.
- To act as a liaison between the Voids and lettings team and repairs business team.
- To input and process payments for authorisation in accordance with financial procedures and within the limits of authorising officers.
- To provide direct support and advice in resolving issues and identify and recommend improvements that may require changes in procedures.
- To work independently and on own initiative on assigned work-streams; assessing and resolving issues, in line with policies and procedures, escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience of working with a range of databases, spreadsheet and information systems
- Experience working with previous Councils/ Housing Associations
- Experience of co-ordinating projects and working at a range of levels within organisations and externally
- General knowledge of the local authority or other public sector or voluntary organisations.
- Experience as a Business Support Officer previously is preferred
Contract
- Initial 3 month contract
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- PAYE via Umbrella
- salary is negotiable depending on experience
