The Business Support Officer will assist the Financial Controller and Housing with Care Managers in the provision of a professional and timely accounting service whilst also ensuring financial controls are compliant with all relevant regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements. Radius Housing provides quality and affordable social housing in over 80 towns and cities throughout Northern Ireland. We provide a range of services from sheltered housing for the over 55’s and general needs housing for families and single people, as well as specialist care and support facilities for the frail, elderly, people with dementia and learning disabilities and other complex needs. An accounting qualification such as IATI or working towards same or at least 3 years experience (gained in the last 6 years) in a similar role in a finance environment. Demonstrable written and oral communication skills with experience in explaining / clarifying technical financial matters to non - finance personnel.IT literate with extensive practical experience of Microsoft office, to include word processing and Microsoft Excel to include the use of pivot tables and v look ups.A minimum of 3 years experience (in the last 6 years) in a finance environment operating an IT based financial system.Please see job description for full specification.
