About Us IT Services is a centralized resource working collaboratively with the University community to transform UEL’s digital landscape in line with the University’s Vision 2028 strategic plan. Engaging in ground-breaking initiatives delivered within a dynamically developing cloud environment, IT Services work closely with staff, students, partners and other key stakeholders to identify technological enhancements to our learning and working environments. About the Job IT Services Business Support is the team that ‘make things happen’. The Business Support Officer provides essential support to the IT department planning, delivering, and managing a range of administrative tasks. From monitoring and reporting on IT expenditure, to ensuring the seamless end to end staff recruitment process for new joiners, no day is ever the same. About You You will be an enthusiastic individual with a proactive approach to work and an ability to manage and prioritise your workload. If you see yourself as the’ go to’ person who can make the lives of others easier, by offering friendly and professional Business Support to a fast-paced department, then this could be the ideal role for you. The ideal candidate will: Have experience of working in a Business Support or similar administration role Have experience of reporting and managing the administration of departmental budgets Be a competent user of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Teams Have experience preparing a range of reports for management Benefits Package Here are UEL we understand it’s about more than just a salary.
