The opportunity!

We have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working individual to join the UK Support Function. You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical administrative support to MBDA's Land Ceptor team. You will need to exhibit a high level of organisation skills, excellent attention to detail, phenomenal team ethic and the ability to work with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst accepting innovative ways of working

The Role (this is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities):

  • The Role will be based in Bristol office, with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites and MBDA's Poland office when required
  • Generate and maintain a close working relationship with domestic and international collaborators, both internal and external to MBDA
  • To work with the senior management team with identifying project and technical administration activities that could be reassigned from the project and engineering population
  • Collation, distribution and management of general review outputs / actions / observations to include Project Management Meetings, working groups, etc
  • Document control/maintenance/reporting: Working with the domains internal and external collaborators to collate material and to be accountable for ensuring key documentation is available, accurate and up to date to include, but not limited to:
  • Maintenance of registers, equipment lists, breakthroughs, etc.
  • Document analysis - pulling test results into a structured document, collation and action of review comments
  • Generation of export and security forms for consignee undertakings, security approval updates etc.
  • Work with team leaders to support generation of internal forms used for cost control and management
  • Creation and maintenance of the document transmittal and export control detailed process map
  • Understand fully the process and policies in regards to security/export requirements within the domain and provide local expertise
  • Creation and maintenance of a database for product shipping information working with the engineering population
  • To utilise and provide local expertise in key specialist IT based applications and databases and provide technical support/training to the domain
  • Continuous improvement to delivery, process and behaviours within the domain
  • Supporting and facilitating events (internal/external)
  • To be a key member within the UK Support Function and the BSS Network and participate in engagement activities
  • Sharing standard methodology and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offering mentorship and training to team members
  • Participation and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives and to be accountable for own self-learning and development
  • Discretion and confidentiality to be maintained
  • Encourage and participate in cross-skilling and Knowledge transfer activities across the function
  • Any other adhoc technical administration duties required by the domain
