Your responsibilities in this role:
The position, together with the Central IT team, is responsible for ensuring that the business unit has the appropriate IT infrastructure and access to key data to enable it to meet business requirements in the most effective and efficient manner.
Use technical expertise to support the implementation of a new ERP system.
Key member of the steering team during implementation and future phases of the project.
Prepare existing business data for transfer, mapping, and migration to the new ERP system.
Develop and implement standardised business processes across core functions.
Technical management of system changes and auditable transaction history
Tasks:
Work with different stakeholders to re-design business processes & workflows
Establish ERP system user environments and security access.
Modify & generate business reports using a range of tools, Crystal reports, Power B.I. SQL report writer.
Develop user dashboards, KPIs and visual management cues within the new system.
Support local networking, thin client, print services and general hardware infrastructure on behalf of I.T central services.
Implement and maintain change management controls and requisite record keeping
Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues.
To be involved in CI activities across the business unit
Identify CI initiatives within IT and project manager to successful conclusion.
Apply if you have most of the following:
Degree qualified (ideal but not essential)
Level 3 qualification in Business Information/ IT Systems/Business related discipline or equivalent
Experience in manufacturing environment
Extensive experience in a similar role
ERP systems experience
Ideally experienced in ERP implementation
Deliver customer needs, anticipate requirements.
Consider broader environment, be commercially aware.
Think strategically, plan.
Communicate effectively.
Nurture relationships and manage stakeholders.
Prioritise and solve problems.
