Business Unit Manager

 I am delighted to be recruiting for my client exclusively for a Business Unit Manager/General Manager.

My client are manufacturer, utilising IT & Engineering solutions to enhance and move our systems and the business forward. The role will require you making change management decisions to enhance and make our processes leaner.

You will be commercially astute, with an above average grasp of IT, be able to manipulate a spreadsheet with functions communicate system changes, understand data management principals.

The role is a hands on role responsible for a team of 25.

Job Description

Working with the existing management structure, you will be in overall day to day management control of staff and be able to support the team and advise members of the management team to assist them with their duties.
You will oversee and lead, Engineering / manufacturing staff, Customers Services, Sales, Finance, IT, Programming, Design, Artwork.
You will spot potential issues before they arise, liaise with customer service and production on critical jobs to ensure they are despatched on time whilst looking for any errors within the system and work with the IT manager to rectify these.
Observing what has gone right or wrong in the business and learning from this, monitor customer feedback and oversee customer complaint resolutions
Regular one 2 one’s with staff along with annual appraisals.
Work with the leadership team with regards to budgets, pricing, appraisals, and certain financial decisions.
Ideally you will have a Business management qualification or degree
