You will be joining an experienced team of individuals, responsible for their own accounts with the top 5 grocery retail clients within UK & Europe.
The Duties:- Managing your own diary and spending as much time as possible face to face with customers
- Building rapport with suppliers and growing a strong network of contacts to maximise revenue and repeat business
- Strong account management, identifying opportunities for category growth and new product lines
- Developing and maintaining relationships with the top UK Grocery/Convenience accounts
- P&L management at national account level
You:

- Strong buying or account management experience within an FMCG environment will be beneficial
- You have strong relationship building skills with the ability to generate long-term business partnerships in an ever-changing product landscape

The successful candidate will have experience of managing retail customers either at National
Account Manager or Executive level within an FMCG environment.The successful candidate will also be a team player, keen to demonstrate self-motivation, a professional attitude, good face-to-face and telephone communication skills, have a high work ethic, a will to achieve and a 'business management' approach with demonstrable ability to generate and deliver challenging account plansUsing your excellent relationship building skills, you will be expected to foster strong relationships both internally and with your external customers across the Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale and B2B channels.Ideal Profile:
- Previous Buying & National Account Management experience
- A background in Private label
- Very strong commercial skills
- An Analytical approach
- Ability to handle high-level negotiations
- A consultative manner with a high level of business acumen.
- You will have hunger and passion for success with aspirations of progression
