Buying Assistant - Fresh & Frozen
The company has led the convenience food retail market for years, with a long-standing presence in both the UK and throughout Europe.
The purpose of your role will be to provide accurate and timely administration support to the Fresh/Frozen Trading team. Ensuring specific Trading activities & projects are delivered to the business on time.
Key tasks
- Work closely with buyers, liaise with the Trading Support Team with queries, gathering information, minute taking, presentation preparation and relevant supportive paperwork.
- Support the Traders with information gathering for product withdrawals and recalls,
- Analyse and input data including sales tracking, analysis and competitor benchmarking, for new line launches, promotional activity and events.
To be considered for this role, you will have qualifications and proficiency in both Maths and English, as well as a background of analysing and interpreting data.
- Has worked in a fast-paced environment within a large team for a minimum of 1 year.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Works to deadlines effectively.
