In the position of Buying Coordinator, you will specifically be responsible for coordinating the buying and commercial support across Partnerships. This is a pivotal role that is designed to help shape the way our client trades across these channels. Day to day, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Work directly with the Partnership Buying team to support the partners in the delivery of all relevant KPI's - Sales, Profitability and Stock
  • Be the key point of contact for the business for buying related support and queries
  • Ensure that the critical path is managed and that ranges are suitable and compliant
  • Attend selected supplier previews to support range building process
  • Provide input on the Partner Credible Display Quantities
  • Support the team in managing price changes and general admin task, alongside deranging and range updates
  • Work cross functionally with Buying, Marketing, Retail Operations and Logistics Planning to support the agreed promotional calendar and trading plans for partners
  • Work closely with Marketing and Promotions Manager to agree any catalogues or publications to be signed off by the Head of Buying
  • Analyse and review stock and sales information to support order sign off process with Head of Buying
  • Document best practise buying manual for curated wholesale processes
  • Ensuring consistency across the channels
  • Supply new channel packs for potential new partner opportunities

  • Naturally curious with a love for trading product
  • Exceptional people skills with the ability to quickly build and further maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst managing multiple tasks
  • Good excel skills with great attention to detail
