Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from detailed construction plans, available in both physical and digital formats
- Operate woodworking machinery proficiently
- Apply supplementary materials like metal trims, inlays, glass, and leather
- Execute cabinet jointing and assembly using contemporary fixings and power tools
- Fit modern hardware, including drawer runners, hinges, and architectural ironmongery
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent skills in planning, organization, and priority management
- Proficiency in material selection, cutting, jointing, and using a hydraulic press
- Advanced practical skills in furniture making and joinery
- A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of design principles
