About the role:
Astute’s Renewables team is partnered with an electric vehicle (EV) charge point installer and independent connection provider (ICP) who have a large order book and diverse client base across the UK. We’re looking to recruit a Site Supervisor to help cover the West Midlands area.

The Site Supervisor role comes with a salary of up to �48,000 and an excellent further package, including a vehicle.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to a Project Manager you will:

* Be responsible for the supervising and managing projects on a day to day basis
* Run jobs to agreed timescales and control and supervise contractors on site
* Attend pre-project and pre-start meetings, progress meetings and project handovers
* Assist the Project Manager with the planning of works and assist with controlling project budgets
* Work cohesively with the wider internal teams and functions, ie the Business Support, Accounts and Shared Services teams
* Manage the site staff according to company HSE requirements
* Survey and programme jobs on a weekly basis and populate the planner with addresses
* Identify material requirements and be involved in site procurement
* Sign off completed jobs for quality
* Create and edit RAMS where required
* Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* Full UK driving licence
* SSSTS or SMSTS is essential
* NRSWA Supervisor is essential (or equivalent)
* Emergency First Aid at Work
* A higher education in a relevant field, ie construction management or an electrical qualification

Personal skills:
The Site Supervisor role would suit someone who is/has:

* Excellent computer literacy
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
* Good project management skills
* A focussed and solution-centric personality

Salary and benefits of the Business Development Manager role:

* Salary depending on experience, up to �48,000
* Commercial Vehicle & paid fuel
* Daily subsistence and accommodation paid if and when staying away
* Private healthcare
* Company pension
* 25 days holiday plus BH
