General Description
This apprenticeship will suit an ambitious apprentice who wants to become a CAD design professional. This role is based in one of the North East’s premier pharmaceutical plants. You will be creating and updating 2D site master drawings, including but not limited to Utilities, architectural, electrical, instrumentation, data networks, P&IDs, GMP drawings, gowning, tooling etc.
Main Duties
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Full integration into the site drawing office, Engineering department
- Issue and control of site master drawings
- Support project activities from concept design to implementation of approved final drawings
- Aid system improvements
- Work to and maintain GMP standards

- Upon completion of the apprenticeship the apprentice will be a qualified CAD professional
Things to Consider
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The apprentice will achieve the Level 3 Engineering, Design and Draughtperson Apprenticeship
- They will achieve the BTec Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering qualification
