SalaryAn excellent opportunity has become available for experienced CAD CAM Programmerto join the expanding team of our client based in the Tameside area. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis and successful candidates will be required to have 3 years of referencing and a full DBS check completed.
- Role:CAD CAM Programmer
- Location: Hyde
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
- Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Fridays
Duties as CAD CAM Programmer will include but not be limited to:
- Reading and interpreting a range of 2D and 3D drawings and model files
- Creating CNC programmes, nests of sheet metal developments and flat patters from customer drawings
- Using Catia V5 and CAM packages including Alphacam and Radan (punch)
- Working as part of a buys team
- Purchasing materials from approved suppliers
- Managing large work loads and adhering to production schedules
The successful CAD CAM Programmer will possess the following skills:
- Aerospace manufacturing and sheet metal production knowledge is essential
- Familiarity with press break operations and sheet metal process including punch and rout profiling
- Experience using programming software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
