CAD / CAM Programmer

As a CAD/CAM Programmer you must be able to;

• Read and interpret a range of 2D and 3D drawing / model files
• Create CNC programmes / nests of sheet metal developments/flat patterns from customer drawings (for our CNC punch and rout capability)
• Use modelling software: Catia V5 and CAM packages: Alphacam & Radan (punch)
• Work as part of a busy team with a large workload adhering to production schedules
• To demonstrate experience of Aerospace manufacturing (sheet metal production knowledge is essential)
• Familiar with press brake operations and sheet metal processes, including punch and rout profiling
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Purchase materials from approved suppliers
