These maintenance roles operate on a SHIFT basis. Double days shift - Monday to Friday only (no weekends).
Calibration and instrumentation biased ideal working with fast moving machinery and utilities.
This very stable and profitable large organisation is recruiting for a number of engineers in the Watford area. You will maintain a range of electrical, mechanical and automated equipment and lines, with thorough training on the machinery given for all new maintenance engineers and personal career development provided.
The role:
- Carrying out calibration on automated equipment and systems.
- Validation activities as required.
- Calibration on gauges, sensors, autoclaves, filters etc.
- Using recognised problem solving and root cause analysis methods to understand the cause of faults and to plan maintenance schedules accordingly.
- Regular reporting of maintenance work conducted and faults that have occurred.
- The Calibration Technician will work a rotating shift pattern with good rest periods included.
The Calibration Technician should:
- Be a time-served, HNC qualified engineer
- Have worked as a Calibration Technician / engineer, maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, electrical maintenance engineer or automation engineer on a range of automated machinery and utilities.
- GMP knowledge advantage but is not essential.
- Enjoy ongoing professional development and training on new equipment.
- Be a real team player who enjoys working together with colleagues.
