Calibration Technician

We are currently looking for a Calibration Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Surrey area. As the Calibration Technician you will be responsible for calibrations are completed on time and instrumentations are overseen in accordance with company procedures, Eudralex Volume 4 and technical norms applicable to pharmaceutical industries.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Calibration Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Help with the instrument/equipment lifecycle documentation and related validation procedures for both new and old systems.
2. Start and advance CAPAs, deviations, and change controls pertaining to equipment instrumentation.
3. Examine calibration breakdowns and trends to identify the underlying cause and the best course of action for the short, medium, and long terms to increase the calibration plan's effectiveness.
4. Training of other technicians.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Calibration Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in an Engineering related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical company performing calibrations.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with PLC's and related control systems.
