Our client is seeking for a candidate to work in their non-emergency department starting off on normal office hours, however will then move to complete night shift hours. This role is temporary with the possibility of going permanent.
Salary: GBP10.42 Weekdays / GBP13.55 Saturdays / GBP16.65 Sunday and Bank HolidaysLocation: Norwich, Hellesdon/ThorpeHours: Full-time 12h shifts 8pm - 8am, 4 days on 4 days off
The role of a Call Advisor is to take inbound non-emergency calls from the public and organising/booking necessary services from healthcare professionals, emergency services and community organisations including (but not exclusively):• To arrange Nurse visits• To book Patient Transport• To escalate issues to On Call Managers
About the Role and Responsibilities:• Answer operational calls that come into the contact centre.• Provide accurate assistance over the telephone using appropriate software/triaging tools.• Book services via other organisations.• Interaction with public and professionals.• Some patients might be difficult to handle with sensitive subject matters.
Call Handler Qualities:• Happy to undertake an Enhanced DBS check• Reliable• A great telephone manner• Good use of computers• Strong listening skills• An empathetic nature
