A Day in the Life of an RMN:
As a mental health nurse specialising in community care, you'll play a crucial role in providing support to patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular visits to patients in the community to ensure their needs are met.
- Administering medications according to prescribed schedules.
- Engaging with patients to understand their conditions and provide effective assistance.
- Conducting risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for patients during treatment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active registration with the NMC as a mental health nurse.
- Proven experience in CAMHS.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
