SalaryHays Healthcare is now recruiting for a Band 6 CAMHS Crisis Nurse based in Kent
Rate: £27 - £34 per hour
Shifts: 21:00 - 8:00 Monday - Thursday.
Your New Role:
We are currently seeking a Band 6 CAMHS Crisis Clinician to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health conditions. As a CAMHS Crisis Clinician, you will be responsible for providing assessments, interventions, and support to children and young people in crisis to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
This is an agile role, which means you can choose your work location (at home or at the site), however you would be expected to be within reach of the coordination site based in Kent.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments of children and young people in crisis to determine the most appropriate course of action
- To Undertake A&E emergency assessments.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support children and young people in crisis
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and external agencies to coordinate care and support for patients
- Providing consultation and advice to other healthcare professionals and agencies
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records are maintained and confidentiality is maintained
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
What You\'ll Need
- Valid NMC/AHP/HCPC Pin
- Relevant qualifications such as Mental Health Nursing
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous CAMHS crisis experience
