SalaryWe are looking to recruit a Canteen Assistant who will be responsible for preparing hot & cold food at our distribution centre in Monkspath - Solihull, West Midlands.
Pay, working hours & benefits:
We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.60
We have a full time contracts avalible. Shifts will be set at the hours between 4:00PM and 2:00AM
Duties:
- Food preparation tasks;
- Cooking and counter serving of meals;
- Receiving and moving of deliveries to kitchen storage;
- Replenishment of fridges
- Cleaning of kitchen utensils, appliances and surfaces.
About You:
This is a busy canteen, so the ability to work under pressure without supervision is essential. Candidates should also be able to communicate effectively and posses general numeracy and literacy skills.
Food hygiene is very important, so a basic food hygiene qualification would be desirable as well as an understanding of workplace health and safety.
