SalaryWe are working with one of the top BPA firms in the market who are looking to add a Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary to their team.
You will be working as part of an exceptionally high calibre team in a fast paced and dynamic environment, providing commercial insight and advice to key teams within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and analysis on the impact of potential new transactions.
- Assist the further development and ongoing calibration of the Internal Model.
- Production of assumptions and methodologies.
- Assist with stress-testing and scenario analysis of the balance sheet.
- Produce forward looking analysis which may be of interest to Senior Management, advising on possible actions.
- Support the ongoing monitoring of metrics e.g. MCEV, IFRS, SCR.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience within Life Insurance.
- Newly or nearly qualified actuary
- Strong technical, functional and analytical skills.
- Minimum 2.1 University degree in a STEM subject.
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000, plus strong bonus.
