Salarypmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a Capital Methodology Actuary on behalf of an Edinburgh based Life insurer.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of methodology and assumptions for use in Solvency II and IFRS 17 reporting. More in-depth the role will involve:
* Conducting experience analysis for key non-economic assumptions for use in SII and IFRS17 reporting
* Develop recommendations for these non-economic assumptions, presenting these recommendations for approval to senior management
* Maintenance and development of SII methodology and recommend changes where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with some previous experience of Capital Methodology, assumption setting and reporting.
