Car Valeter

Aston Workshop is a leading specialist company in the sales, servicing, and restoration of Aston Martin vehicles and work day to day with some of the most elegant and iconic vehicles available in the world, dating back to the very origins of the marque. We employ over 40 specialist staff and operate from a large facility in the peaceful Beamish Countryside. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and conscientious individual to lead our parts department who is keen to learn and develop their skills to become part of the future of our renowned company.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work in conjunction with our workshop managers and sales team and will typically undertake the following duties:

• Preparing cars for showroom-ready cleanliness
• Service washes
• Interior valeting
• Exterior polishing and detailing
• Moving vehicles around the site
• Some collection and delivery/driving duties on occasion
• Helping to keep the showroom and workshop clean and tidy
• Maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction
• Carrying out miscellaneous driving tasks
• Ensuring cars are stored away before business close

Relevant Experience & Qualifications Required

Product knowledge and in-house product training will be provided to the right candidate.

The company may be willing to put the candidate through their HGV training.

1-year minimum in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

A keen interest in classic and sports cars including Aston Martin, Morgan, Lotus, and Jaguar an advantage.

Further Details

Normal working hours are day shift, Monday to Friday, number of hours per day is negotiable but we would ideally like a candidate who can work 5 days.
