A great opportunity has arisen for an addition to our Product Management team to join an established and growing leader in the ventilation industry based at our offices in High Wycombe.

About the Role

The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.
They will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.
The Project Manager will work closely with Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs and are delivered to a consistently high-quality standard.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Own the product roadmap for their portfolio and serve as a subject matter expert to the business.
  • Identify market trends and requirements and possible product solutions.
  • Manage and control the relationship of those suppliers where Airflow purchases finished items, including price, branding, packaging, etc.
  • Accurately and precisely understand and illustrate market problems and desired solutions in the context of the markets we operate in.
  • Translate high-level market requirements into detailed functional requirements.
  • Create and maintain a competitive matrix that reflects the most current state of the competitive landscape.
  • Support value improvement activities with the supply base and Procurement team.
  • Foster close working relationships between the Product Management Team and Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service departments.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure that NPI is positioned and communicated to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Deliver product training and demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to requests for ad hoc reports in a timely manner, setting proper expectations for data quality, meaning, and time of delivery.
  • Create and regularly update dashboards to provide the Product Team with clear, concise insights based on key performance indicators on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Update product documentation, user help systems, market advisories, and presentations to inform stakeholders of changes made to a product and maintain product descriptions, pricing, technical documents and other content on (url removed)
  • Understand product compliance for existing and new regulations, both UK and European and adhere to the Airflow Brand Guidance document.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report/review new product launches.
  • Attend trade association meetings, representing the best interests of Airflow and understanding issues affecting the business.

Key Competencies
  • 2+ years of experience within a Product Management team, ideally with a technology or engineering company
  • College degree, preferably in a business or technical subject area
  • Proven strong analytic, logic, and quantitative skills
  • Strong communication skills, spoken and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willing and able to develop a deep understanding of the ventilation and fan market, customers, vendors, service providers, users, products, and technology
  • Passionate about delivering compelling products to customers
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural, cross-functional, matrix organisation
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines on a tight schedule and work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and confident with good attention to detail

Desirable Skills
  • IOT product experience an advantage
  • SAP & CRM experience an advantage
