Who we are.
We are Ambient Support a registered UK charity with over 25 years' experience in providing Care and Support services for older people, people with mental health needs and people with learning disabilities.
Our Learning Disability services can provide Care and Support for people with a range of complex and specialist needs. We provide person centred services using a range of support approaches such as Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support to help people gain skills and increase their independence.
Public transport is limited in this area. The buses stop at 6pm and the trains do not run after 9pm and do not run on a Sunday. Therefore, you would need to have your own transport or a means to travel there for your shifts.
The Role
We are looking for Care Assistants to join our passionate and Supportive team. With your help we can make a positive difference, enabling greater independence, improved wellbeing and more importantly a friendly face offering reliability and Support. Our residents require support with household duties, money management, cooking and personal care. This role is varied so no two days will be the same!
About you
You don't need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications, all you need for this rewarding role is the will to make an impact treating our residents with compassion and dignity - we are happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care assistant.
