The Role: Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Hilltree Court, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities
• Personal care – showering, dressing, continence care, administering medication , mealtime supports,
• Support individuals living with dementia, Parkinson’s, mobility issues, hearing impairments, sight impairments,
• Waitressing within restaurant
• Domestic duties within apartments and communal
• Laundry service washing drying ironing and returning.
• Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet residents' individual needs
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and empathy

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care or support role is advantageous
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
• Ability to work effectively within a team and on an individual basis

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• UK health and social care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ L2 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent (preferred)

• United Kingdom (required)
