Vacancy: Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager

Randstad is currently working with several large regional contractors based on the South Coast. In recent weeks, these contractors have secured multiple new projects across Hampshire.
This has sparked a recruitment drive to hire multiple Assistant Site Managers / Site Managers for a range of projects. These roles are varied with requirements biased towards internal and external packages, including new schools, hospitals, student accommodations, or leisure centres.
This business specialises in projects between £1 million to £30 million across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, and West Sussex.
This client is looking to conduct interviews with an expected start date in June or July.
Duties include:
- Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed on time
- Monitoring budgets to avoid overspend
- Supervising subcontractors
- Conducting quality and safety inspections
- Ensuring work is finished to agreed standards
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Coordinating teams
- Day-to-day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
- Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
Salary & Package:
- £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
- Car allowance
- Pension
