Form of workAssistant Site ManagerHursley, HampshireSalary £35,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Laptop + Phone + MilageBlaymires Recruitment is representing an exciting and young main contractor based near Hursley, Hampshire who is searching for a motivated Assistant Site Manager.The company was founded in 2020 and was awarded Chartered Building Company status, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).They have built a robust client base and have successfully undertaken projects across the Commercial, High-end Residential, Heritage, Leisure & Hospitality sectors with project values ranging from £300K to £1M.2024 is proving to be a busy year for the company and they are now searching for a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join the business. The chosen Site Manager will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for managing a commercial refurbishment of a heritage brewery into new offices based near Winchester with a contract value of £300K.You will work under the guidance of the Managing Director and will have at least 12 months site management experience as an Assistant Site Manager or a Junior Site Manager.The Role* You will report to the Managing Director and in turn be responsible for all site activities.* You will manage all labour and subcontractors to ensure work standards are maintained.* You will oversee health and safety.* You will be responsible for calling off materials and maintaining programmes.* You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery in a timely and efficient manner.Skills Required* Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel.* SMSTS certificate.* First Aid certificate.* Scaffolding certificate.* CSCS Card.* Good communication skills.* Assertive and strong persuasion skills.On Offer* Salary £35,000.* Car Allowance £5000.* 25 Days Holiday.* Pension.* Milage 45p* Ongoing Training and Development.* Interesting and varied projects to work on.* Career progression.To find out more contact Stephen Blaymires at Blaymires Recruitment on (phone number removed)
