SalaryRandstad C&P are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality residential projects in East Hampshire! The role has arisen due to the busyness of the contractor - who have been growing in the recent market. The role offers excellent progressional opportunities as well as a strong starting salary of up to 50,000 plus package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the residential project, including construction progress, quality control, and health and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely delivery of work according to project plans and specifications.
- Monitor site activities and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise to maintain project schedule and budget.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to construction standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in managing site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
- Support the Site Manager in maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably on residential projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures applicable to construction sites.
