Our vision ‘We Care, We Aim High, We Learn and Achieve Together’ encapsulates the work we do every day. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1170 students and are looking to expand our staffing further.
The site team consists of a dedicated team ranging in experience and age. We have a good team spirit and work well together. We take pride in the presentation and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds.
As part of the team you can expect every day to be varied and busy as you support our staff and pupils by providing a safe, secure and well-maintained school environment. Team working is an essential skill in this role as you will be overseeing the two Site Assistants daily duties as well as being able to demonstrate your ability to work independently or with the direction of the Site Manager
Day to day duties could include unlocking/locking up the school, key holding and emergency response, ensuring rooms are set up for functions, day to day maintenance, ad hoc cleaning, grounds works, health and safety checks (full training given), and record keeping.
Specific trade strengths in any area would be an advantage but not essential. Lifting, moving and handling of furniture and deliveries also form an important part of the job. Full health and safety training will be provided. In return, we can offer you:
- a positive and optimistic working environment focused on staff well-being, student welfare, progress and high standards of achievement and behaviour;
- Opportunities to engage with Hampshire Apprenticeship scheme.

- free on-site parking and good local public transport links to the school (bus/ rail).
We welcome visits to the school to see us in action and invite you to come and have an informal chat and meet the Senior Site Manager.
