SalaryWe are recruiting a part-time Care Assistant to assist a lady in her own home.
This post will include two weekdays each week in addition to approximately one weekend in three, both Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 2pm.
We are also hoping to recruit an additional Care Assistant to work a smaller number of hours as and when required on weekdays and/or weekends.
The main duties required in this role are some aspects of personal care, laundry, cleaning, cooking/meal preparation, shopping, collecting prescriptions and assisting with attending medical appointments from time to time.
Previous experience of working within the care sector may be advantageous but it is not an essential requirement for this role.
Applicants will be reliable and conscientious with good timekeeping.
Applicants will have a genuine desire to work in the care sector and provide a high standard of care.
Applicants will be a member of the PVG scheme or be willing to become one prior to commencing employment.
Applicants will have a driving licence and their own vehicle which will mainly be used to travel locally within Perth.
