Heathfield House Nursing Home – Under New Ownership & Management
Are looking to employ enthusiastic and caring Care Assistants for our upstairs care of the elderly unit.
The unit compromises of 47 beds, 22 beds for people who are living with dementia and 25 beds for elderly care. Each unit will have a dedicated team of Care Assistants to deliver direct care to our residents.

Duties will include but not limited to:
Care to Residents
- Assists in the admission procedure for new residents.
- Reviews and becomes familiar with Care Plans for residents and assisting residents with personal hygiene requirements; helps with bathing; assists in the care of pressure areas, skin, teeth, mouth, hair and nails.
- Records fluid input and output where necessary.
- Assists residents with physical activity
- Ensures that any changes to a resident’s condition are communicated to a registered nurse without delay.
- Assists in identifying and meeting the social and recreational needs of residents.
Flexible support services
- Helps housekeeping staff in the clearing of vacated rooms; assists with bed making etc.
- Checks and keeps tidy the sluice area; clean utility room, equipment store and nurse’s station.
- Files resident’s notes, results, reports and provides assistance of a routing nature in the general administration of the home.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 44 per week
