We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. The Care Assistant will provide essential support to residents in a care home setting or during home care visits.
Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Follow care plans to ensure individual needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Document and report any changes in residents' health or behavior
Skills:
- Ability to drive to provide home care services
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with residents and team members
- Familiarity with care plans and procedures in a care home setting
- Experience in home care services is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and their families
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
