Care Assistant (Complex Care)

We are a provider of Complex Care is looking to employ Care Workers to support our clients in Watford, Hertfordshire. You will have at least 6 to 12 months UK based care experience and willing to work with adults and children with Complex Care needs. You will work in the client’s home and some of the care may need to be provided with support from another carer or a family member, usually a parent/guardian.

Skills and experience

Verifiable previous experience of working with clients with any of the following: Seizure Management Plans, PEG Feeding, Administration of medication.

Flexible and committed to cover different shift patterns.

Punctual, reliable with a genuine interest in caring for clients with Complex Care needs;

Able to support with Personal Care; Feeding; Continence Care; Play Therapy;

An ability to communicate with clients with varying degrees of communication needs.

Relevant training including Care Certificate. You will also receive comprehensive training that will prepare you to manage the client's needs.
