Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in delivering quality care to patients in various settings.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in implementing care plans for patients
- Provide personal care and support to patients in their homes or care facilities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and care provided
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and communication
- Drive to different locations as needed for patient visits
Requirements:
- Experience or certification in home care or care home settings is preferred
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Valid driver's license for traveling between patient locations (Preferably)
