Salary range: £12. 00ph

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Night shift - 8pm - 8am

Weekend Requirement on rota

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care. Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
• Answer emergency bells or calls from residents, to assess the situation, to deal with resident seeking help and summon the senior care staff whenever necessary.
• Assist residents who need help with the activities of daily living; including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as documented in their care plan.
• Help residents with mobility problems, including transferring residents using appropriate equipment and other physical disabilities, help with use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care
• Being part of a team supporting the senior Care Assistant in monitoring our residents and reporting changes
• Communicating with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professional

Because we care for vulnerable people, we’ll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
