Care Assistant - Full-Time

Shift Times:

• 7am-2pm or 7am-6pm
• 2pm-10pm

(Part-time also available : 6pm-10pm shifts)

Our care home is located in Grays, we primarily care for older adults with Dementia/Alzheimer's. The ideal candidate must be confident in supporting residents whilst also ensuring a person centred approach. The ideal candidate must be well-organised and communicate well.

The ideal candidate will already have care experience, however, individuals willing to complete training will be considered. Compassion and kindness is essential to this role.

Duties Include:

• Handover
• Supporting residents to manage their personal care needs.
• Keeping accurate records of the care provided and also incidents, accidents and communication with relatives.
• Ensuring residents receive appropriate medical assistance when required, with support from senior staff.
• Ensuring residents have meals, snacks and drinks and are supported if required.
• Cleaning and laundry
• Ensuring call alarms are answered promptly

The successful candidate will be asked to complete training prior to starting. A professional reference from your most recent employer will be necessary. Enhanced DBS will also be required (the home will arrange this).

Must be over 18 years old.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
