Care Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to drive or travel to different locations as required
- Proficient in using basic IT systems for documentation purposes
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards individuals in need of care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
