SalaryA fantastic, purpose-built elderly Care Home in Swindon is currently seeking motivated Care Assistants on Days and Nights to join their dedicated care team.

- £11.75 per hour with paid breaks!
- Contracts for 24, 26 or 48 hours per week
This purpose-built elderly care home is furnished and decorated to a high standard with a modern yet homely feel. They are rated ‘Good’ in all areas in their CQC report with a great reputation in the industry and a strong record of progressing and developing their staff.
The care home offers free on-site parking and is also easily commutable on public transport with a bus stop right outside the care home served by multiple bus routes.
Extensive training will be provided from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members to new Care Assistants joining the care team. Full training and inductions will be a staple no matter the experience level of any new Carers joining the care home.
Care Assistant main duties:
- Providing personal care such as assisting with bathing, dressing and using the toilet
- Support with manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using the correct equipment where required
- Work collaboratively within a team of other Carers and Nurses to provide a high quality of person-centred care
- Assisting residents with food and drink throughout the day
- Promoting residents' health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their lives to the full in their later years
Desirable for Care Assistants:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker within a care home or homecare environment
- NVQ’s within Health and Social Care / the Care Certificate (Full training will be required)
