Nottinghamshire county Council are looking for a Broker to undertake a wide variety of tasks associated with adult social care.
We are looking for a person with drive and commitment to achieving accuracy and high-quality work across the board. The post will be hybrid working with an expectation of being office based 1-2 days every week.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Excellent levels of numeracy and literacy, educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Initiative and drive with the ability to work effectively without direct supervision
• An ability to work to tight deadlines, ability to multi-task, and capable of managing your own workload whilst being able to respond to rapidly changing priorities
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office 365, and the capacity to quickly learn and competently operate relevant data management, communication and financial systems and software
• At least one years’ experience working in administration, or other similar post
• A good understanding of GDPR, and relevant safeguarding requirements
• Experience of financial systems including processing of grant claims, evidencing eligibility, and recording outcomes.
• Knowledge of adult social care services would be advantageous.
Office based at West Bridgford.
£14.41 and hour.
