We are looking for a part-time member of staff to join us on an exciting, fixed term contract until March 2026.
The post will be part of PET’s Service Delivery team and will support the Lived Experience Consultants. This role will be line managed by the Engagement and Development Manager and work closely with the Engagement and Development Officer and the Head of Service Delivery.
Our vision is that the coordinator role will be an opportunity for progression for someone who has offered their lived experience either at PET or another organisation within the Criminal Justice Sector.
We actively encourage applications from candidates with lived experience of the prison system.
The project is grounded in the reality of people’s experiences and reflect the significant challenges people face in prison post-pandemic. As well as the improvements to our service delivery model that result from this work, we see these activities as providing learning opportunities for the people involved in the delivery of the project, including both people who have been in prison and those still serving their sentence.
PET has been successful in gaining funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. This project aims to ensure our services are accessible and inclusive and reach the diverse communities which make up the prison population – We want to ensure that people who begin our courses get the support they need to complete them.
