Form of workWe are seeking a dedicated Home Manager with an established nursing background to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential care facility, providing high-quality care for elderly residents. The ideal candidate should have experience managing care services in the past.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications following compliance policies with prescribed administration
- Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents
- Support and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support
- Correlate with healthcare professionals to deliver specialised care, for dementia patients in particular
- Ensure the smooth running of the nursing home, maintaining high standards throughout assisted living care
- Oversee the provision of home care services, ensuring all residents' needs are met at all times
Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration and record keeping
- Established background in nursing, with experience in senior and dementia care
- Ability to manage lead and work alongside a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to understand and be able to liaise with residents, their families, and healthcare providers
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for residential care facilities
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to senior care
