Your new company
Our client is a small independent care company that provides supported living services for service users with mental health conditions. The owner has independently run this company for 20+ years and is now looking to expand the senior management team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of care is kept to a high standard and in line with CQC regulations. This role is ideal for a registered manager who is looking to progress but get into more of the behind-the-scenes work. This role will include:
- To be responsible for the frameworks and completing soft audits of files and records, also conducting standard Audits and accompanying CQC inspectors.
- Creating Service improvement plans, holding meetings with current management teams to implement the changes require improving the quality of the service being provided.
- Launching and leading investigations into issues such as discipline, safeguarding concerns, complaints and producing reports and findings to appropriate parties.
- Auditing current training practices and implementing improvements which will improve the quality of support being given.
This is a varied role and will require the perfect candidate to be competent in this field and hit the ground running.
What you\'ll need to succeed
As well as being experienced with Quality Assurance and working in management, you will also need:
- Experience and understanding of CQC and its processes
- Atleast a Level 5 in management and leadership in social care settings is desirable but not essential.
- Confidence in the work that you do and to make a difference
- Ideally, have a Registered Manager\'s background and experience working within the social care setting.
