You must provide personal, practical, social, religious and emotional care. You must also demonstrate support with respects towards dignity of special needs, vulnerable ADULT and elderly; who may have physical or mental impairments, and have difficulties with their daily activities and living. A care plan is personalized for each service user, service will be provided in their own homes accordingly. Tasks It is not an exhaustive list of the tasks involved, they will vary from one service user to another, but instead it is intended to be a guide to the type of work involved:
▪ Assist clients to get up, dressing and preparing them for their day.
▪ Washing, bathing, showering, oral care, grooming.
▪ Toileting, assisting with the use of commode, emptying commode and changing of catheter bags.
▪ Continence management (change pad).
▪ Using manual handling equipment as specified. ▪ Working with other care professionals such as District Nurses, GP’s, etc.
▪ Assisting with prescribed medication and fill MAR Sheet.
▪ Assist service user to go to bed, including undressing and washing.
▪ Preparation of meals, drinks and assistance with feeding.
▪ General household duties include cleaning, shopping, collection of pension, paying of bills, laundry, ironing and other household chores.
▪ Monitor client’s health. Report any change in their health and social circumstances. ▪ Escorting, Shopping and suppliesmanagement.
▪ Record all performances and tasks in dailylogs. Duties & Responsibilities.
▪ Follow the policies and procedure of Moniks Care Services Ltd, follow the rules as laid out in the staff handbook.
▪ Abide by the Code of Practice of General Social Care Council.
▪ Collect personal protective equipment (gloves), Daily logs, MAR sheets and times sheets from the office and submit them when required.
▪ obtain the signature of services users on timesheets and submit timesheets within 2 days of cut of date
▪ Provide the service in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and enable them to maintain their personal hygiene, a good level of nutrition and hydration.
▪ Maintain professional boundaries, keep ID card on while on duty and work as part of a team with colleagues and demonstrate a professional image.

▪ All staff is expected to respect the requirements under the Data Protection Act 1998. All staff must ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974.
