The opportunity has arisen at Alderwasley Hall School for a Team Leader. You will be a member of a strong team that has been judged as Good by Ofsted. We are looking for motivated, committed and competent individuals who can make a positive difference to our students. A strong awareness of safeguarding practice is essential as well as being able to promote equality, diversity and inclusion at all times.
You will be a mentor and leader and provide support and advice to your colleagues. The role of Team Leader requires you to be a positive role model for others and have an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
All staff must be flexible and willing to work shifts that include some evenings, weekends, school holidays (including Bank Holidays) and sleep-ins. Successful applicants should be enthusiastic, patient, understanding and have excellent team working skills. You must hold a Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Caring for Children and Young People and have at least two years direct experience in residential child care.
The successful applicants will have a strong background of working with children and have no recent record of disciplinary or concerns about their practice. Current line management endorsement will be requested prior to a final decision being made. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your career for a future management position.
