Care Worker - Support Worker

Main duties and responsibilities:

Personal Care:

Assisting clients with Daily Hygiene: Helping with bathing, showering, brushing teeth, and other personal hygiene tasks.

Dressing: Assisting clients with choosing appropriate clothing and getting dressed.

Toileting: Helping clients with using the toilet, managing incontinence, and maintaining personal hygiene.

Feeding: Assisting clients with eating and drinking, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.

Medical and Health Support:

Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications, ensuring correct dosages, and keeping track of medication schedules.

Mobility Assistance:

Transferring and Positioning: Helping clients to move from bed to chair, wheelchair, or bathroom; assisting with positioning to prevent bedsores.

Exercise and Physical Activity: Encouraging and assisting with physical exercises and activities to maintain mobility and health.

Emotional and Social Support:

Companionship: Providing emotional support, conversation, and companionship to combat loneliness and isolation.

Engaging in Activities: Participating in hobbies, games, and social activities that the clients enjoy.

Household Tasks:

Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.

Cleaning and Laundry: Performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, tidying, and doing laundry

We are looking for Care workers with a minimum of 6 months experience in care in the UK and who have the use of a car to get to their places of work.
