This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of twelve Careers Consultants within Imperial College Business School Careers. This position provides one-to-one student support as well as delivering workshops, webinars and large lecture-theatre presentations.

Duties and responsibilities
With a focus on providing targeted support in sectors and industries that our students aim to work in, this role will also be part of a sector team. As well as providing generalist careers support to students across all sectors, this role will provide specific expertise in one of the key sectors our students aspire to work in and will require knowledge/experience in at least one of these sectors (Consulting; Finance; Technology; Energy, Sustainability & Social Impact; FMCG, or Healthcare). Sector teams provide insights into recruitment trends and processes, typical pathways and labour market information within these industry sectors. You will also contribute to building the team’s knowledge in one of these sectors by updating resources and materials.
Essential requirements
You will be experienced in and passionate about career development. You will either have experience in a University or Business School setting in providing careers advice, or significant recruitment experience, preferably in the graduate and/or experienced hire area and a qualification (or equivalent experience) in careers advising, coaching or mentoring.
The role will involve frequent contact with students online and in person, occasionally this may be outside of normal UK working hours, including evenings.
