Description
- Develop and maintain IT systems and infrastructure to support the Careers & Enterprise department.
- Collaborate with staff to determine IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Manage data security, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
- Provide technical support and training to staff and students.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT systems.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to IT within the university.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in wider university initiatives as required.
Profile
A successful Careers & Enterprise Information Technologist should have:
- An educational background in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- An understanding of LMS and VLE
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £33,300 - £37,000 per annum.
