Job description

Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) Contract: Fixed term (Up to 12 months maternity cover) Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff. A vacancy has arisen for a full time Careers & Enterprise Information Technologist. The role ensures that the Careers, Employability & Enterprise team delivers digital resources, products and services that increase student engagement with their career development beyond the curriculum and graduation. Additionally, the role includes providing e-guidance services on careers guidance and interviews to ensure the students reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have evidence of ongoing CPD and have an appropriate professional qualification in Careers guidance or equivalent and/or be studying towards one. The candidate will also have excellent design, data and IT skills including social media communication and content management systems and LMS or VLE platforms. Along with good communication, organisational, prioritising and team working skills. The nature of the work undertaken by the team means that the successful post holder will be required to work occasional evenings and potentially weekends.
