AddressWe are looking to employ a Personal Assistant to provide support to our Son, who has been diagnosed with Autism and requires support and gentle prompting with daily tasks.
Our son is 14 years old and approx 5 Foot 6 and weighs approximately 13 stone. He is a mostly happy boy, love balls, fiddly toys. He loves Play-doh and messy play.
We are looking for help on on two days: a Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday after school from approximately 3 pm till 5 pm.
Main Duties will include but not limited to: change as necessary
· Ensure basic hygiene needs are being met including help with toileting.
· Preparing meals and help him eat it
· Keeping him safe and entertained
Ideal Candidate: change as necessary
· Must have patience and be reliable
Be able to manage challenging behaviours, he is 10 stone, approx. 5ft, he's very strong, when cross can become aggressive (normally gets cross about food)
DBS checks will be carried out
Legally be able to work in the UK
The BCP Direct Payments Advice Service is a support service for individuals who are living independently within the community. We are not the person you will work for. You will work for the individual or family we are supporting.
